The Crumpet's Nail Tarts 33DC Day 23 - Geometric

Greetings All!

Last week I really didn't have my nail art mojo. This week is different, and I've been really happy with my 33DC manicures!

This is the first time I've done the colour blocking technique. It always seemed really fiddly, and it was! Getting all the tape on seemed to take forever, and then I managed to polish a hair into my ring finger, so it smudged when I took the tape off. I'm always doing that though - I should probably be happy that I only polished in one hair! Apart from that, it went better than I thought it would. I guess I'm finally getting used to using striping tape - yay!

Three untrieds used for this over white - MUA Fever Red, Essie Butler Please and Asda Shipwrecked. I'm a few manicures ahead at this point, but I've used 58 untried polishes in this challenge so far, with 6 manicures left to do. I would be feeling pretty impressed with myself, but somehow my untried collection is a little larger than when I started! I have a problem, OK?

I also used my new TarasTalons matte topcoat. It isn't quite as matte as my Asda one, but I like the effect!

    1. Thank you!

Yeah, they're pretty cheeky with the Essie bottle shape - almost exactly the same, but smaller.

    1. Thank you! I have 3 cats, 2 of which have long hair, and I also have a large collection of cuddly tigers - I don't think I've ever managed a manicure without a hair in it!
