31DC Day 5: Purple

For once I knew exactly what I wanted to do for this manicure. I had it pictured exactly in my head. Purple is The Crumpet's favourite colour, and she is also a big fan of holo's (well,who isn't?!). I just happened to have a new purple holo to try. It was fate! To prove that point, it even looks like it did in my head! (That rarely happens. Something is usually lost in translation)

Anyway, here is Day 5: Purple

This is Models Own Southern Lights, a lilac holo glitter with just so much sparkle it's almost obscene. This is 2 easy coats.

2 coats of Seche Vite made this a little hard to photograph. It's just too shiny!

Look at all that holographic goodness. mmmmmmmm.

So this is 2 coats of Southern Lights,  stamped with Revlon 'No Shrinking Violet' and plate BM05. A few rhinestone stars in the middle, all sealed in with Seche Vite. Done! I only wish I could have found 5 purple rhinestone stars. I only had three. Then I managed to lose one!
