Flip Flop February Challenge Day 6: Fan Brush or Glitterbomb

Greetings All!

As I said yesterday, I don't currently own a fan brush. I guess I could have gone out and bought one, but I have plenty of glitter bombs, and even a couple that are untried!

I'm a big fan of glitter on nails. I've never been put off by the removal of it. I usually add an extra layer of base and top coat so that it's quite thick, and then it's quite easy to peel off. I haven'y used the PVA method yet, but I do have a bottle of it waiting. I'm a little put off because although I change my polish most days, I don't like the thought that it might just come peeling off. I will experiment though because it's crazy popular at the moment.

On to today's nails. I have an untried Models Own glitterbomb to show you. This is Dancing Queen, from their Mirrorball collection.

This is 2ish coats over OPI Lemonade Stand By Your Man. Dancing Queen has light and dark blue, green, silver and gold glitter in diamonds, shreds, and different sized hexes. It applied pretty easily, minimum dabbing. It reminds me of fish scales, or maybe a mermaid's tail. It really is like an explosion in a glitter factory! I like it. I'm not usually a huge fan of shreds and shards in glitter, it can look messy, but this all ties together quite well.

You can buy Models Own polishes in Boots, or at www.modelsownit.com.

Tomorrow, sugar spun or a pattern!

Remember to check out everyone else's nails! I'm hoping for lots of glitter lol
