Greetings All!
I hope you're all having a good weekend! This evening I have swatches I did ages ago (November, I believe), and then promptly lost. They turned up in a folder of Halloween nail art!
I love glow in the dark polish, after all, what's not to love? However until fairly recently I haven't been able to take pictures of polish glowing in the dark. I still can't take good pictures, as they're rather blurry, but they do at least definitely show that glowy magic. I've made a very high tech darkroom, which involves putting a poncho over my head!
I bought these three polishes from Rainbow Connection (which is currently closed for the next couple of weeks!! Nooo!), I'm not 100% sure on their availability as only some are still on the Polish Addict site. I have developed a terrible habit of posting about polishes that are hard to find or sold out lately, so for that I apologise!
Heat Wave is a soft, Summery, peachy orange concoction. I'm wearing 3 coats here.
This is maybe a bit Summery for January, but I think it's a really pretty polish and of course the glowing element doesn't hurt at all!
Blurred Lines, again 3 coats.
This is probably my least favourite of the three. On paper I should love it - white base, black glitter, stars, and admittedly the blue that it glows is gorgeous. I just don't quite love it.
Happy Hour, 3 coats.
This last one is my favourite, partly because it glows a fantastic turquoise colour, and secondly because it doesn't really look like a glow in the dark polish! I always think of them as being quite bright colours, and although this isn't dull by any means, it does have a certain muted quality to it that makes it's turquoise glow even more of a transformation!
I really enjoyed wearing these polishes - they were easy to apply, didn't need undies, and the GITD effect was lovely and strong!
You can buy Polish Addict Nail Color here.
Pretty! Love the glow in the dark effect :D
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to have to get myself some GITD glitters, I love em! These are all gorg!
