UK Indies - Indy's Indies Winter Polishes

Greetings All!

I still have a lot of Winter polishes in the vault. I'd better press through them, or it'll be Spring before I'm done!

Indy's Indies, in my opinion, had the best Winter/Christmas polishes this year. Imaginative, varied, and all very cute! Some of them are quite seasonal, but others can be worn all year round. Plus many of these polishes are still available, in the sale section! So there's a chance to grab a bargain.

This post is picture heavy, so I'll jump straight in!

Starry Night is one of my favourites of the group. Shocking, eh? This is 2 coats over black.

Stars, and an obscene amount of chunky holo sparkle - so my kind of polish! Very blingy and eyecatching. Of course, stars and holo are two things I can't resist.

Baubles, 2 coats over OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow.

OK so here I've used a dark green to make it try and look like baubles, but put this over any colour and it's just awesome circle glitter! It's like the shiny cousin of Balloon House, and I love it!

Snow Is Falling, 2 coats over Color Club Shabby Drab.

This is a very Wintry polish - I couldn't really imagine wearing it in the Summer. Snowflakes were the big glitter shape leading up to Christmas, and I couldn't resist trying one! This one is a  fabulously frosty mix, the best 'snow' polish I came across! Should we get any snow here, this will go straight on my nails again!

The Snowman, 2 coats over Sally Hansen Gray By Gray.

How cute is this one - it's like a snowman in a blender! I love the combination of shards and circles, it's one I'm going to have to keep an eye out for.

Santa's Coming, 2 coats over OPI Jade Is The New Black.

Again, I've paired this with green, which does make it look a bit Christmassy, but it would work over lots of colours all ear round! This one has quite a bit going on - lots of shapes, and I really like the red sparkle.

And finally, my very favourite, Crushed Candy Cane. I've worn this several times already! Thsi is 2 coats over black.

This polish is perfectly named, and the white shards in it are just...wonderful. Very shardy, pointy, angular, whatever the correct description is, they rock!

There are a few of these polishes left in the sale section, so it's a perfect time to grab a bargain!

  1. I have most of these ones in my stash too, Danielle did such a fab Xmas collection last year :D Crushed Candy Cane looks amazing over black and mattified. I don't ever normally leave links, but in case you want to have a look it's here: http://pennypinchingpolish.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/indys-indies-crushed-candy-cane.html

Feel free to delete the comment though - it feels weird link-dropping anyway, so I won't be offended at all :D
