My Latest Korean Nail Haul!

Greetings All!

Last month when I was buying every kind of nail art supply under the sun (or so it seemed!), I couldn't resist picking up a few Korean polishes. They're always so cute, with pretty colours and a nice mix of glitter. A lot more exciting that the majority of British brands (indie makers aside, of couse!). Plus they cost around £3-4 each, and shipping is often free! I got this latest haul from a couple of sellers on eBay.

This is Etude House BK801, Evening Black Sand. It's a black textured polish with red glitter. Red and black! I used 2 coats here. It was a total pain to remove, and took forever to dry, but I think it was worth it for these slightly lizard-skin looking nails!

This is VOV Apple Nail #5448A (which I couldn't find a name for!), 2 coats over Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau. A lovely, fresh pale blue base, with bright blue and pink glitters that sit together perfectly!

Etude House Play Nail, #130 (again, no name that I could find!). This is 2 coats over a base of Essie Waltz. I really like this polish - it reminds me of sweets! I think it's the matte orange and green glitter. Plus I can never resist glitter in a white base!

The Face Shop Apple Mint Yogurt, 3 coats solo. I really enjoyed the Yogurt polishes I bought last year (Vanilla Sugar Yogurt being a particular favourite of mine), and I meant to 'complete the set', but never got around to it! I don't find this one quite as exciting as the others, but it's nice enough. I'd prefer it with more of the darker pink glitter.

These are all pretty good polishes, formula wise. They don't dry very quickly, but that's what SV is for (apart from the textured polish. That just involved a lot of waiting!)!

  1. I love the third one - it looks like a tutti-frutti ice-cream!

The two light blue ones remind me a bit of Lippmann Glitter In The Air - with a ton more glitter and a fraction of the price :)
