Greetings All!
My posting has been pretty erratic this week - apologies for that! I've been feeling so tired lately, and I've been choosing napping over blogging!
We are very nearly reaching the end of this challenge - I'm looking forward to getting it all completed, but I'll miss it when it's gone! I've been doing this challenge since March, and it is quite fun to be able to look back at what I've done, and how I've developed. I'm not really sure if the art has gotten better, but my photos and cleanup certainly have!
The inspiration for this week is a flag. I've been rather boring and gone with the old red, white and blue.
I started by painting all my nails with Beauty UK White. I then painted my nails with 2 coats of TarasTalons Centaur, which had red, white and blue glitter in a sheer white base - how perfect for this theme! For my accent finger, I made a decal using Cheeky Jumbo Plate 6, Happy Holidays. I stamped with Konad Black and filled in the flags with Barry M Blood Orange and Blue Grape. This is the first time I've done a full nail decal, and to be honest I found it pretty tricky, especially getting the thing on my nail! Fortunately cleanup was relatively easy, as the decal is made from polish, or i would have given up!
I love the bunting, it's adorable!

DeleteIt was a pain at the time, but I think ultimately worth it in the end!

DeleteIt's a good thing an accent nail was enough - I don't think I could have managed a whole manicure!
