The Crumpet's Nail Tarts 33DC Day 6 - Texture

Greetings All!

I think I might be a bit over the texture trend. I like the smoother leathery effects, but I find that I pick at the full on textured polishes - I can't leave my nails alone!

One thing I have been wanting to try is stamping over a textured polish. I always sort of thought that you needed a smooth surface to stamp on, and even though I've seen stamping on texture, I've still been a little sceptical. For this manicure I stamped a Halloween image over an untried, to fulfill my little self-imposed extra challenges!

So yes, I do now believe that it works! And I love the effect! I stamped with Konad Black and BM225 over Nails Inc Concrete in Marble Arch. Aren't the little skulls so cute?

    1. Thank you! You are one of the people that inspired me to do it!

I have tried topcoating textures, to see that they'd look like, but I do like the matte finish!
