The Crumpet's Nail Tarts 33DC Day 8 - Chevrons

Greetings All!

Chevrons are one of those styles that I've never felt the urge to try before. However, now that I have, I rather like them! So this is my first ever attempt at chevron nails.

I did these freehand, which is why they're a little bit wobbly and wonky! I'm still fairly happy with them though - it's a technique I'll be trying again in the future!

They aren't really Halloween themed (a bit vampy, which is halfway there!), but I did use three untried polishes for them - an unnamed Sweetheart polish, which is a really nice taupe colour, but everything else about it kind of sucked, NYC Lincoln Center, and Barry M Gold to add a bit of...something. It was too plain without!

    1. I found it much easier and less fiddly than doing half moons - I'm kicking myself a little bit for not trying this technique sooner!
