NEW UK Indies - Indy's Indies - Balloon House

Greetings All!

I have a brand new UK indie brand to share with you! Indy's Indies, from creator A Shi...pload Of Polish!, was released last week and so, of course, I had to try a couple out! They only arrived on Monday, but I couldn't wait to get this one on my nails! You'll soon see why!

Isn't it gorgeous? This is about 2 coats over black - I got one 'basic' layer on, then added more dots where they were needed. I love how bright and fun it is - my nails sort of look like a cartoon! It would work over so many colours too.

Application was OK - I did need to do quite a bit of dabbing, and I needed 2 coats of Gelous and 2 of SV to get it completely smooth. I also had some bubbling issues, from my Gelous. I've nearly finished my third bottle of the stuff!

Indy's Indies doesn't currently have a separate shop, but you can purchase her polishes via her Facebook page. The majority of them are Disney themed (Balloon House is from Up), and they are super cute!

  1. I'm sorry you had to dab it! :(. I've found that the dot glitters are harder to apply, i think cause they're heavier or stick together or for some odd reason, but I hope you like the polish despite this! Love your swatches! - Danielle x

    1. Dabbing wasn't a problem - it's pretty much standard for this type of glitter/polish. I was just being honest! Plus I went with a bit of placement for full-on balloon glory.

I absolutely adore this - it's so cheerful, it made me smile every time I looked at my nails!

    1. It's a beautiful polish. I don't mind dabbing at all, especially with my beloved star shaped glitter, and other larger glitters!
