TarasTalons - Spooky

Greetings All!

This October the big glitter trend seems to be skull shaped glitter, which is awesome! I know they aren't to everyone's taste, but I think they're really fun, especially for this time of year! Now, if I can just get them to make teeny tiny bat glitter...

Tara has really done a fantastic job with her Halloween collections, with several skully polishes (I ended up with four or five in the end!). This first one I'm showing you is called Spooky. This is 3 coats.

How cute are those little skull and crossbones?! I was worried about how much they would stick out on my nails, but they weren't too bad at all, and easily tamed with topcoat. They also came out relatively easily - a little light fishing, but nothing exasperating.

You can buy TarasTalons polishes here (sadly no skulls left though!).

So...what's your opinion on skull glitter? I'd be very interested to know what people think (I also have pumpkin glitter coming up)!

  1. So cool! Tara has some awesome Halloween polishes... But I'm still sulking that I won't be around for Halloween Haha. Also loving the idea of bat glitter I think you should invent it :p. X

  2. I really like the crossbones glitter, bat glitter would be fab too but would have to be small so it wouldn't stick out too much :)

    1. Yes they would have to be tiny little bats...I've tried before with bat sequins and glitter, but they are way too big!
