Greetings All!
Today I have a quick little glitter sandwich to share with you. I recently tried Essie Waltz, which is a lovely white crelly, so now I can have all sorts of glitters in a white base! This time I used Glitzology Crunch Berries.
There's something so simple and perfect about primary coloured glitter. These glitters aren't full on matte, more satin, but they look so good under the white!
Essie whites are so good, I use to hate white nail varnishes, but now I can't stop using it, I have Essie blanc!
ReplyDeleteLove the layers of varnish in here, adds some depth to the mani, nice job :)
A white creme I find a little too stark, but if it's got a bit of jelly to it, I can't resist! Especially with glitter!
DeleteOMG!!I promise you are like my polish sister! I am obsessed with jelly sandwiches right now! Wait till you see my upcoming manis! I need some good combo ideas! What are your favorites?? Also have you ever tried to do a jelly sandwich with smaller glitter?? Not like microfine but not chunky??
ReplyDeleteLol!
DeleteMy favourite jelly sandwiches are usually done with a neutral base, like OPI Samoan Sand or Barre My Soul. I love the combination of nude and glitter! Plus they 'colour' the glitter less than colourful jellies.
I've found that larger glitter works better - fine glitter can get a bit lost, especially if it's more of a 'crelly' than a jelly. Or you could try a combo - lots of small glitter, with just a few larger pieces? I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Wow this looks fab in a sandwich! That glitter is awesome x
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI lOVE this glitter, it was one of the first indies I ever bought!
This mani seriously reminds me of cereal in milk haha! That glitter is fantastic! Good job! (:
