Another new week begins, and finally a theme I don't have to struggle over! I'm a big fan of gradients, and stamping over them, so the most difficult part of this manicure was choosing which stamp to use!
I used three untried polishes for the gradient. This can be a little risky, as not all polishes gradient well, but thankfully it turned out OK! I started with a white base, then used three Revlon scented polishes - Mad About Mango, Raspberry Rapture, and Passion Fruit. I was hoping for a delicious fruit salad on my nails, and they definitely smelled fruity (weird sentence there!)! I then stamped with plate 10 from the MoYou Pro Collection, and Konad Black. I'm not 100% happy with how the image stamped - it's very deeply etched, but I don't know if that had something to do with it, or whether it's that my Konad is on it's last legs!
I found a discount code for 30% off MoYou plates (now sadly expired), so I thought that was a good
Yeah, so restraint isn't really my strong point, in case you hadn't noticed! A lot of these are the XL versions, and they're a pretty decent size! Just long enough to cover my thumbnail. I'm also looking forward to trying the 'one big picture' plates, although I'm not totally sure how to translate the whole image onto my nails!
